Ludvika is a town south-west of Borlange and about 50 km away. Most of the attractions there are open in summer, so we only visited the open mine museum there. There was also a nice place with wooden benches where we had our lunch.
After Ludvika we drove to Safsnas, which is part of a small town Fredriksberg. On the way we said hi to horses and got directions from a moose 🙂 In Safsnas we initially planned to visit a shop for sports equipment, but ended up going to Safsen Mountain Cycling Resort. We didn’t rent bikes, but still got a chance to take the mountain lift and viewed the magnificent nature from the height. There was disco music almost during the whole trip up and down the mountain, so we fully enjoyed it!
